Suspiria is one of my favourite weird witchy films, made in 1977 it is set in a dance school ran by witches - directed by Dario Argento. It’s classed as a horror, but is wonderfully colourful and uses brightly coloured gel lights around the set - so my sister and I thought we would recreate some scenes from the film with one of my favourite local models - Hildy Harland. This was the time my sister and I had a little studio for a while at Ampersand Inventions in Commercial Union House called Gross Studio (sadly it’s been knocked down now and they are building a HMRC building instead - how very exciting of Newcastle Council!).

Anyway we had so much fun recreating the scenes from the fi lm - playing with fake blood, vintage knighties, gel lights and set designs.
