Durham Donkey Rescue

Durham Donkey Rescue is a gorgeous little charity that helps donkeys who have been abandoned or are sick. They are not a petting zoo, and pride themselves in being a peaceful place for the donkeys to rest so they don’t often open to the public - yet mostly rely on donations and sponsorships. I saw they posted looking for some nice photos of the donkeys and some help with their social media - so I sent over an email and next thing I know I am being given a tour of this gorgeous little place. Ian is lovely and a very busy man, I don’t think he sat still the whole time. The donkeys themselves were quite curious about my camera and all wanted to come and say hello and get their close-up.
