Sun of Seitan is a local vegan food business ran by the amazing Ingrid - making handmade vegan meat dishes from something called Seitan - or vital wheat gluten? This meat alternative originated in ancient China where Buddhist monks developed it as a meat substitute. Ingrid popped by my studio with her amazing wraps and we had a wonderful time shooting her various dishes - something she never has a chance to do while busy running her stall at the Quayside Market on a Saturday so it’s nice to actually spend some time creating some photos that do the seitan dishes some justice.
